Sarah Goddard

Sarah Goddard has recently been appointed the first Chief Executive Officer of the Dublin International Insurance & Management Association (DIMA), the trade body representing the international re/insurance industry operating through Dublin, Ireland. Dublin has been one of the fastest-growing re/insurance centres in recent years, and the majority of the post-9/11 Bermuda-headquartered start-ups have located their European operations in Ireland’s capital city.
Prior to joining DIMA, Sarah was the Editor of Global Reinsurance magazine, the specialist publication for the international reinsurance market, following several years with Business Insurance magazine as London Bureau Chief.

Sarah started her insurance-related career at Lloyd’s of London, where she worked in the communications department during the early 1990s and up until the launch of Equitas and Lloyd’s “Reconstruction & Renewal” Plan.

Sarah has won several publishing awards, and spoken at industry conferences around the world, as well as pioneering GR TV, which broadcasts at the Rendez-Vous de September.
